Adriana & Gabriele // Wedding at the Castello Odescalchi, Santa Marinella
Gabriele and Adriana are a young married couple, he Roman and she Brazilian, who have chosen to celebrate their wedding at the Odescalchi Castle in Santa Marinella.
Immersed in an unique context and a short distance from Rome, the Castle offers the bride and groom a spectacular setting for an unforgettable wedding: on one side the sea, which overlooks the terraces of the location, on the other the Mediterranean by palm trees and maritime pines. When in 1887 prince Baldassarre Odescalchi bought the castle and the Santa Marinella tenuta for a few lire, no one could have imagined how the history of the small town that surrounded the ancient manor would change. Its elevated position respect to the the sea level, the south.east exposure and the generally mild climate in all season, gave prince Baldassarre the idea of creating one of the first modern holiday centers around the castle, transforming the small inhabited area in an elegant elite seaside resort. Thanks to his foresight, in the 50s Santa Marinella thus became the holiday city of cinema. Toto, Alberto Sordi, Anna Magnani, Marcello Mastroianni and others now regulars of the town attracted a large enthusiastic audience around them. Roberto Rossellini and Ingrid Bergman spent the happiest years of their union in the villa of Santa Marinella.
Our spouses exchanged their promises of love in the church of San Giuseppe, a few meters from the castle. Subsequently, taking advantage of the beautiful sunset light, we made some shots together with the spouses and then headed towards the castle. After a dunner full of speeches by the guests and the spouses themselves, the party began during which Adriana and Gabriele exchanged very personal promises surrounded by their loved ones. The DJ kept the party alive until late at night. A beautiful wedding and a beautiful day. Thank you guys.
